As the Vice President of National Buying & Customer Interaction at ALDI, I oversee the buying activities for produce, protein, and the freezer aisles as well as marketing, communications, and e-commerce. I stepped into this role in 2015 after holding a variety of positions across the ALDI business for 20 years, including District Manager, Director of Warehouse and Transportation, and Division Vice President of the Batavia, IL Division, where I oversaw the operations of Chicagoland stores. Today, I lead two extraordinary teams. One develops high-quality, innovative products that keep ALDI ahead of the competition, and the other utilizes marketing channels to make sure shoppers know about the value ALDI offers every day. Whether shoppers are reaching for local produce, fresh Atlantic salmon or seasonal apple ice cream, our job is to make sure people know there is something for everyone in our stores at prices that can’t be beat. In addition, my teams and I work hard every day to make it even easier for customers to shop our aisles. Whether in-store, online or through our delivery partners, we’re building additional ecommerce capabilities that will allow more shoppers to experience ALDI in a new and exciting way as we continue our growth across the country.I am a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Business Management. In my spare time, I am an avid runner and triathlete and have proudly completed a full Ironman race, several Half Ironmans, and marathons.
