In this role I lead the daily operations of Piney Flats OFC while upholding quality service for our customers and increasing efficiency where possible. Dotted line supervision of operation at OFC in Jacksonville, FL. Lead a team of 11 in various distribution roles. Wholesale counter sales, shipping and receiving. Enhanced Inventory management processes to 99% accuracy year over year via cycle count program and process improvement. Improved LTL logistics program by negotiating rates with new carriers or leveraging relationships that are already in place. Drove process leading to 10% decrease in shipping cost. Committed team to standard of service through same day shipping, process improvement and +/- 2% accuracy rate.

Led small group with focus on small parcel distribution.

Build and maintain vendor relationships. Creat and submit special buy and drop shipment purchase orders. Leverage vendor relationships for freight deals, service level and accelerated service. Various AP duties. Resolved open purchase orders and pricing issues.

Oversight of daily production staff and process. Daily production entries and planning. Maintain an accident free workplace via weekly, monthly and quarterly safety meetings.
