About Scott Proper
As the Lead New Product Development Engineer, I provide technical leadership for new product design and development activities to insure robust and efficient product launch. I have over 35 years of experience in product design and development, with a focus on electromechanical devices and fluid systems.I am highly skilled in plastic and metal part design. I have decades of experience in Solidworks and Creo and a variety of mechanical and fluid analysis software packages. I hold an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification, and I train and mentor engineers in using advanced quality planning methods, such as URS, DFMEA, Stackups, CTQ, GD&T,.DVPR, and Process Capability and Gage studies. I also review and approve PPAP submission packages by external suppliers, and collaborate with internal and external partners to co-develop innovative solutions. My mission is to deliver quality products and processes that meet customer needs and expectations, and contribute to the health and well-being of people and communities.
