As a Principal Inspector at the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR), I have over 15 years of experience in the nuclear sector, leading the inspection and licensing of nuclear power plants. I am a Chartered Engineer and a qualified project manager, with a strong background in nuclear reactor technology, engineering, and leadership. I have successfully delivered multiple complex projects, working with diverse stakeholders and teams, to ensure the highest standards of nuclear safety. I am passionate about advancing the field of nuclear technology and regulation, and contributing to the ONR's mission of protecting people and society from the hazards of the nuclear industry.In addition to my role at the ONR, I am also a Fundraiser at Cheltenham Open Door, a charity that supports vulnerable and homeless people in the community.I bring a unique perspective and experience having served as a Submarine Engineering Officer in the Royal Navy for almost a decade, where I operated and maintained Vanguard Class Pressurised water reactors. I am driven by the values of excellence, integrity, and collaboration, and I seek to leverage my skills and expertise to support the strategic objectives and vision of ONR.
