Foreign Assistance Specialist managing Security Assistance Teams (SAT) for the CENTCOM AOR. Responsible for the analysis and development of mission requirements; selection and formation of military, contractor, and DOD civilian SATs; oversight of team preparation, deployment and re-deployment activities; team performance monitoring; and support for deployed teams. Deploys with and commands OCONUS Security Assistance Teams when required. Coordinates Security Assistance training missions with DSCA, USASAC, SATFA, Combatant Commands, and Security Cooperation Organizations. Advises foreign government representatives and other U.S. Government Agencies on matters relating to Security Assistance. Budgets, authorizes, and controls expenditures of foreign government andU.S. Government Title 22 and Title 10 funds in support of Security Assistance training missions.
