Scott Simon is an ardent champion for ensuring that public service employees across the Centennial State receive the secure retirements they have earned. A proven financial management executive with three decades of investment experience, Scott has served as Chief Investment Officer at the Fire & Police Pension Association of Colorado (FPPA) since 2007. He’s dedicated to the long-term security and prosperity of Colorado’s firefighters, police, and first responders.Scott’s belief in transparency, sound management and flexible approaches are achieving long-term security and prosperity for Colorado employees who serve and protect our communities. His financial skills and diligence have dramatically grown FPPA investments to maximize its members’ contributions and achieve their retirement goals. A skillful financial navigator and teacher, Scott leads investment strategy discussions with FPPA’s board of directors and investment committee. Accountable to FPPA members’ retirement interests, he provides the FPPA board with clear insights and recommendations for informed decision-making.
