Working as a fabricator welder in the workshop and on site

Ensuring sites are resourced adequately with all labour, materials, consumables and equipment required for the projects to run to their potential. Programming of projects. Over view of staff hours on site as a whole and for particular jobs/VO's and tracking of those hours for claims. Provide hands on leadership, direction and assistance on site as required. Coordinate activity between workshop and site to ensure smooth work flow on site. Liaise with client's site rep and company's project managers to ensure positive site environment, by ensuring the projects critical path is followed and milestones are reached on or before time when possible by keeping the workforce on target. Implement and documentation of health and safety for site specific operations and general every day H&S, conduct tool box talks to keep all staff up to date, with an understanding of what is required. Site housekeeping, consisting of keeping sites tidy and ensuring staff conduct themselves in a professional manner or to a standard which the client requires depending on the situation. During my time at Service Engineers ltd I also spent some time as a home dad looking after both my children.

Working as a structural steel fabricator in the workshop and working on site erecting the finished product. Was promoted to workshop and site foreman and was in charge of 6 staff and the day to day running of the site and workshop activities

Worked as a fitter welder then promoted to fabrication workshop foreman which involved the day to day running of the workshop ordering of materials and consumables and supervision of approx 20 staff, after almost 2 yrs I was then moved into Projects where I was in charge of programming the entire job from ground breaking to the finishing touches and all in between, I dealt directly with the client, contractors and completed all the paperwork involved in the project works

as a Fitter welder and also was involved in the site erection of jobs.
