Supervised the safe working conditions of the DAAP Build Lab work spaces. This goal incorporated the enforcement of safe working practices, preventative machine maintenance, education of students on proper tool uses, and adherence to all OSHA safety protocols. At times, fabricated discontinued parts to repair broken tools, or led classes of students in the operations of said tools. The workspaces included all manner of wood and metal working tools.

Designed both hardware (physical enclosures) and software (user interfaces) for a complete, homogenous human machine interface. Collaborated with engineering teams both at home and internationally. Produced sketches, renderings, information architectures, wireframes, prototypes, and evaluated concepts through peer reviews. Work is currently considered protected intellectual property in accordance with NDA.

Beloit, Wisconsin, United States

Worked in the in-house manufacture of the Marbleocity product line; a series of laser-cut plywood marble rollercoasters. Kept machines running efficiently and helped optimize the use of files through programs such as Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW. Designed and developed new products with the use of 3D Design programs, and rapid-prototyped those products for validation and presentation. Reduced working times by developing specialized tooling to assist with laborious counting tasks.

Assisted with projects conducive to the company's output of larger-than-life animatronics and set/spacial environments for entertainment and educational industries. Products ranged from cartoon animatronic characters for theme parks to full size train replicas for civil rights museums. Individual responsibilities included fabrication of wood and fiberglass items, as well as the finishing of those projects through several body fillers and paint strategies. Improved working areas through development of specialized tooling.
