Post acquisition of Zygos LLP by Russell Reynolds Associates and after a transitional period, I moved into the UK Financial Controller role reporting into the EMEA Finance Director. I was heavily involved in the sale of the LLP and thoroughly enjoyed the intensity of the deal.

Responsible for leading all of the financial operations of the partnership, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports and practices including cash management, payroll, financial disbursements and financial forecasts.Also responsible for financial control, preparing and analysing budgets, developing financial reports and making recommendations to the partners on budget expenditure, with a main focal point being to lead the partnership’s internal and external audits ensuring financial reporting is completed on time.

Maintaining several company’s records on Sage in an accurate and timely way.Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and detailed analytical review of the profit and loss.Dealing with all compliance issues such as VAT, PAYE and P11d’s.Implementing and managing the financial control processes and systems.Production of detailed monthly management accounts and report to the Directors.Producing profit and cash flow forecasts periodically as required by the Directors.Production of draft annual accounts for limited companies and LLP’s with supporting schedules for audit purposes.Regular bank reconciliations.Reviewing supplier ledgers.Reviewing debtor ledgers.Analysing the trial balances to correct errors.Liaising with and training auditors to ensure the correct and compatible accounting treatment is adopted inti any associated Companies.Competent user of Sage and Microsoft Office.
