What are they looking to get out of this purchase?Management:-I have a unique ability to verbalize expertise in a way that is understandable and learnable.In addition, I find myself able to explain something from a second or even a third point of view to make sure employees understand what is needed and how to make it happen.Employees also must be made to understand how a task benefits them; how exactly it is in their best self-interest to complete things on time and correctly.Employees are really just another kind of customer and must be listened to, understood and served, just like any customer.I find that criticism and correction are best received when accompanied by positive feedback and praise, where possible. And often, if not always, it's best to criticize privately and show gratitude and appreciation for a job well done publicly.At the end of the day, though, the buck stops with me. And unpleasant disciplinary issues must be handled swiftly and effectively.My sales philosophy comes chiefly from two books: "The Secret of Selling Anything" by Harry Browne and "Just Listen" by Mark Goulston
