Returned to Jacobs in May 2019 to lead a geographically dispersed application development team that is focused on increasing efficiencies and enhancing project delivery capabilities. Led the development team that created a new family of applications that: streamlined global work sharing by providing the ability to view upcoming work and assign employees to projects; enhanced the ability of the business to resolve short-term staffing needs during the onset of COVID-19; simplified the completion of project management activities by moving to an all-digital solution and integrating with key systems which allowed the business to deliver outstanding solutions to our clients.

Leading a geographically dispersed team that delivers enterprise-wide projects ranging from CRM to cloud computing to mobile application development. As the Director of CRM and Web Technologies, responsible for dozens of enterprise-wide systems including: Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM, cloud computing web systems within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, the company Intranet, the flagship company Internet site, the global image library, and the company mobile app stores.Established an extension of the Jacobs network within Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host production applications and websites using several AWS technologies including EC2, S3, CloudFront, Direct Connect, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, IDM, and Directory Service. Also utilized other AWS services such as Mobile Hub, SNS, API Gateway, Workspaces, and Lambda to deliver fast, scalable solutions to the enterprise.Served as the IT Lead and Salesforce Administrator for the implementation of Salesforce into the organization. Led the technology team in an aggressive six-month schedule to customize Salesforce to our sales process, migrate data from other systems, perform data cleansing, conduct user acceptance testing, and deploy the system to over 3,000 sales employees.At the request of the CEO and CIO, refreshed the corporate intranet with a collaborative, social intranet based on Jive Software’s JiveN product. As part of the this implementation, connected Jive to our on-premise SharePoint servers which functioned as the backend file repository.Developed dozens of employee and public facing websites and web services using traditional web development architecture as well as cloud-based serverless architecture.

Provided team leadership and hands-on development and support of web sites, web-based systems, and collaboration tools.Developed and implemented a refresh to the company Internet site which focused on attracting new employees and investors.Developed an online, automated workflow system to replace a paper-based financial expenditure process. Bringing the process online reduced the time of processing the request from several weeks to just a few days.Worked with our Corporate Communications department to create Jacobs’ first mobile app which showcased the organization’s sustainability efforts.Led a project to design, develop, and deploy a business practices system for all policies, procedures, and practices within the organization.Part of the mergers and acquisitions team that transitioned and migrated data and several thousand employees into Jacobs’ business systems.Led the technical team which provided the first major refresh of the company intranet.

Led Jacobs to the Internet by developing the first website for the company (www.jacobs.com).Technical lead on a project which created the first company-wide Intranet that brought together 50,000 employees and over 200 individual offices.

Led a small team that developed engineering applications and supported engineering software systems.
