Responsible for all aspects of data migration, cleansing, integrating with 7 independent Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics) accounting databases. Consolidated roughly 35,000 customers to 2,500 active ones, cleansed 90,000 customer addresses using Google Address Validation API. Created bi-directional Staging database and processes to integrate Syteline data with existing, in-house operations application to service customers. Completed customer orders were formatted and uploaded to Syteline for AR processing. Provided database support for SQL Server based legacy applications (Windfall). Provided technical assistance and guidance to users throughout the company. Key tools/responsibilities included:• Created database processing to extract corporate customer, financial, and historic transactional data for migration to Infor Syteline. This included extensive SQL analysis to consolidate similar customers, cleanse inaccurate data, and remove inactive customers. Resulting data was formatted for import to ERP system. • Staging process received thousands of BODs per day from Syteline/EQ for processing in a legacy SQL Server based application. Created specialized logic to allow processing of a large volume of information by a legacy, cursor based , order entry system. Extensive reconciliation, validation, and error handling processes which integrated with customized, automated e-mail based notifications. • Developed staging database and processing to import customer orders from Syteline into legacy SQL application. ETL also exported service and payment data from legacy application to ERP for accounting and financial reporting. -
