Facility engineering support for a major industrial manufacturer; this work included:• Provide engineering support and act as Owner’s Representative interfacing with contractor personnel on renovation projects.• Working with in-house, corporate, contractor and plant maintenance personnel coordinating and supporting preventive maintenance of electrical system while learning multiple systems.

For a small, Veteran-Owned Company, provided electrical engineering support, utility rate analysis, and/or project management for energy assessments of government facilities/complexes from upstate New York to southern California. This work included the following:• Evaluated lighting for efficiency and proper operation of building management controls.• Analyzed motor efficiency and potential replacement utilizing MotorMaster+ 4.0 software.• Reviewed power factor looking for opportunities to reduce electrical costs.• Performed analysis of clients’ utility consumption, including utilizing data extracted from advanced metering systems, to identify opportunities for conservation and consider changes in operational strategies.• Evaluated available utility rate tariffs and typically identified a more cost effective rate 50% of the time.• Gathered operational data from mechanical systems for evaluation of proper performance and potential to improve efficiency.• Analyzed potential for installation of renewable energy sources.• Reviewed Request for Quotes for services and prepared responses.• Advertised employment opportunities, reviewed resumes of applicants, and conducted preliminary telephone interviews.

Globally provided facility engineering support for a major industrial manufacturer; this work included:• Responsible for Energy Management Coordination for Kokomo site; this included working with consultant and site utilities consumption reduction team, preparing utility cost forecasts, and tracking/reporting utility consumption and costs.• Represented Delphi – Indiana at I.N.D.I.E.C. (Indiana Industrial Energy Consumers).• Interfaced and worked with electric utility on delivery of 45 MVA of electricity to Kokomo site.• Trained in N.F.P.A. 70E Standard – Electrical Safety and was Subject Matter Expert for company’s Electrical Safety Work Practices program working on development of corporate standard; initiated rollout of program at Milwaukee, WI facility, and assumed responsibility for program and completed training of approx (250) employees at Kokomo, IN facility (2.2 Mil sq. ft.).• Provided electrical engineering and project management support for construction of office and/or production floor space in U.S. and Mexico.• Evaluated, conceptualized and supported power distribution system upgrades and equipment maintenance (600 Volt & 15 KV) for worldwide facilities; including, U.S.A., Mexico and England.• Supported project work that included preparation of drawings and specs, or development of Project Scopes and interfacing with A.E. firms, procurement of equipment and pre-shipment inspections, acting as owner’s rep conducting pre-bid meetings, performing bid evaluations and making procurement recommendations, scheduling of work activities, providing field support for construction or maintenance activities, and providing owner’s acceptance of work and witness of testing.• Performed cost estimating, generated B.O.M.'s (Bill of Materials) and designs for internal construction projects which involved lighting, power distribution and signal systems; supported the hardware and software installation of a card access security system.

Provided electrical/control engineering support for design and start-up of control systems for material handling systems found in corrugated box plants across the U.S.A. and in Canada. This work involved design, drafting, PLC programming, and start-up of electromechanical and programmable controller systems that were interfaced to new and existing equipment; PLC’s included Allen-Bradley PLC 2, G.E. Series One, and Omron Sysmac-S6.
