Set up conventional LOLO operation from Fecamp to Killingholme for a chipboard manufacturer in Normandy.

Responsible for operational offces in Hull, Ipswich and South Wales. Management of 1500 LOLO contianers - both flatrack units and 45 foot dryvan containers.

Was a Management Trainee and sponsored by British Rail through University. Worked in various supervisory and junior management roles. In 1982 was appointed Operations Manager at the Freightliner Container Depot in Coatbridge and in 1984 appointed Depot Manager at Parkeston Quay.
