Duties:• Supporting Research and Development Center with all New Design, Concepts and Testing Programs. From Initial design concepts all the way through to completion. • Supervise and provide guidance for both Graduates and more established Engineers. Setting workloads and giving new tasks for them to broaden their Engineering knowledge.• Writing and Checking of new Procedures ranging from Build Procedures, Testing Procedures, Research and Development Procedures, Customer Procedures and Material Test Specifications ensuring they are all relevant to the most up to date Api, Acme & Norsoq Standards.• Completion of Design Verification Reports for all new Products as well ensuring all older DVR's are updated when a Design change has been completed.• Organizing and holding customer meeting when designing new Products or Test Procedures for Upcoming production work.• Holding and chairing weekly meeting between the entire Engineering Team consisting of high level management and directors. Ensuring all Engineering Tasks are heading in the right direction.• Carry out Design, analysis, evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, codes and standards relevant to the Production Line.• Provide technical assistance and fans response for Production & offshore Problems ensuring there are no extended delays.• Calculating the rated capacities of all Valve integral pressure envelops and Test Equipment prior to being tested in a production zone.• Implementing all ECN’s and ensuring all the corrective actions are completed to prevent problematic recurrence.• Completing and distributing all Nonconforming Reports (NCR) from Contractors and Customers.Following Engineering Software being used:- AutoCAD- Solidworks- Internal Works System – Syteline.

• Carryout the design, analysis, evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and codes and standards relevant to the product line.• Calculate the rated capacities of subsea wellhead system component strings with Mathcad and prepare design verification package (DVP) for certifying authority’s independent review.• Prepare and review design concepts.• Generate function test procedure (FTA’s), function test data sheet. • Provide technical support for manufacturing and sales departments.• Disposition of non-conformance reports (NCRs), refurbishment inspection reports (RIRs) and Equipment Inspection Report (EIR).• Liaise with clients, vendors and all the relevant Dril-Quip departments in order to carry out the necessary engineering task.• Providing technical assistance and fast response for Production & Off Shore problems.• Responsible for planning and setting the tasks on full refurbishments of aftermarket equipment.Projects and experiences gained:ConocoPhillips - Vixen, Joanne M10, M11, M12, Brodgar and Enochdhu.Premier Oil - Catcher Project.All Projects consisted of decommissioning, Workovers and Designing Completion Equipment for M12, Brodgar and Enochdhu projects as well as Premier Oil Catcher Project.

Responsible for the project development of bespoke products involving valuable input at the design stages, including research, development and manufacture right through to installation and final commissioning. Major operators within the oil and gas industry use these products worldwide. Providing technical assistance to the production teams ensuring a high standard of quality is achievable.Duties:• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining product quality and compliance targets.• Monitoring and auditing of products to ensure high standards of quality is retained throughout R&D and production.• Produce assembly procedures, test plans and reports.• Create and develop tooling.• Perform hyperbaric, temperature/fire and shell TAT testing to meet new standards.At the forefront of the company, worldwide site visits are required to identify product defects and perform onsite rectification, supervise product installation whilst providing technical support to the customer. As the point of contact for all technical issues within the subsea division, sound engineering capabilities have been acquired with continuous development.
