Scott Wright has focused his practice in the area of criminal law. He has earned the respect of Judges, Crown and Defence Counsel and already established an excellent reputation in the legal community as hard working, effective counsel. Mr. Wright was the recipient of the prestigious University of Manitoba, Faculty of Law, Archie Dewar Advocacy Award in 2005. He also represented the University at the Gale Cup National Criminal Law moot court competition. While in law school he volunteered in the Legal Aid Clinic where he represented a number of clients in the Provincial Court of Manitoba.Mr. Wright's legal experience has extended from working on the Air India Task Force to assisting some of the top criminal lawyers in British Columbia with their cases. Since his call to the British Columbia Bar, he has conducted trials and appeals. Mr. Wright has also worked as an Ad Hoc prosecutor and supervised trials as part of the Law Students Legal Advice Program at UBC.Mr. Wright is a member of the British Columbia Trial Lawyers Association, Canadian Bar Association, and Criminal Law Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association.
