RI Quality Institute (RIQI) is a nonprofit organization that provides health information exchange (HIE) products and services to improve the quality, safety, and efficiency of healthcare in Rhode Island. As the Senior Director of Strategy and Growth, I lead the organization's strategic planning, marketing and communications, business development, and client relations for its HIE portfolio. I have over seven years of experience in this role, and a master's degree in healthcare administration.My core competencies include health information management, behavioral science, patient engagement, contract negotiation, and stakeholder management. I leverage these skills to help RIQI achieve its growth goals and deliver value to its clients and partners. I have successfully launched the first untethered HIE patient portal and healthcare proxy hospitalization notifications in the U.S., and negotiated and renewed contracts with multiple clients, including health systems, payers, and state agencies. I am passionate about HIE innovation and impact, and how it can enhance the quality and experience of care for patients and providers.
