For more than 20 years, Scott Brown has been a consultant, executive, and innovator in optimizing the deployment of Human Resources (HR) and Workforce Management (WFM) systems. Early in his career, he became focused on finding a better way to create links between employees and management and between employees and technology; all while providing managers with tools and information which they can manage. He founded Sability as an HCM consultantancy delivering end-to-end support -- from planning to cutover -- to insure maximum capture of ROI. The creation of Sability was the culmination of years of focus by Mr. Brown on improving the ability of HR and WFM software to impact business practices and profitability. In 1992, he founded Scott A. Brown, Inc., as a sole practitioner assisting Fortune 500 companies with their employee/technology strategies. Before establishing his sole proprietorship, Mr. Brown provided HR systems consulting for several firms, moving from generalized to specialized markets. Earlier, he spent five years at AFLAC, starting as an Analyst and rising to Director, reporting to the Senior Vice President of IT. At AFLAC, Mr. Brown was responsible for investigating new technologies and setting strategic direction for IT, but left to follow his passion: Consulting. Mr. Brown received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University (Auburn, AL); and completed his post-graduate work in Management Information Systems there.
