Currently focused on the initial design phases of adopting a new vendor application suite for all clinical applications.

Provide new system architecture/implementation and support for 1100+ Microsoft Windows Servers (2000, 2003, 2008, and 2008 R2) for OhioHealth hospitals. Primary responsibilities include architecture and support of a Microsoft 2003 Domain containing 29,000+ users, 16,000+ computers, and 90+ group policies. Implemented various forms of highly available, disaster recoverable systems for mission critical and life and death hospital applications, including 8 Microsoft 2003 Clusters, 6 2008 Clusters, and 7 2008 R2 Clusters, all geographically split between two datacenters 13 miles apart using EMC’s SRDF/CE. Provide support for 100+ VMware vSphere 5 hosts running 700+ Microsoft Server virtual machines, and a separate 30+ host vSphere environment with 700+ desktop virtual machines. Primary script developer for the Server group, using WMI via PowerShell and VBscript to populate an inventory database, change admin passwords monthly, enforce anti-virus and patching agent installation, automatically populate and configure Nagios monitoring, and provide ad-hoc tools whenever needed.

Provide support, maintenance, problem solving, configuration, and installation of over 350 Windows 2003, 2000, and NT4 servers, across several domains and workgroups, within the JPMC intranet and DMZ, in datacenters across the US. Daily break/fix problem resolution and security monitoring, monthly patch deployment and service requests, and quarterly security remediation and environment wide improvements. Create tools and scripts for investigation and remediation across all servers using WMI and VBscript. Coordinate and implement change requests for the backup team, SAN team, networking, local datacenter support, application and database software administrators, and information security. Coordinate and support multiple long-term projects and deployments. Teach and mentor new team members.

Provide PC, LAN, and remote access support for over 400 high demand clients, including networking infrastructure, midrange server support, and the consumer and corporate internet groups.Install, maintain, and support Windows 2000 and application deployment on desktop and laptop machines.Install, maintain, and support Windows XP Professional in the pilot deployment program at Bank One.Complete Hardware and Software support, including Dell and Compaq computers, HP printers, Windows 2000 and XP, Novell NetWare, and Lotus Notes. Work in conjunction with the software integration lab on quality assurance testing and driving compatibility issues to resolution.
