• Collaborated with the largest off-price retailer in the U.S. to design the Customer Data Platform from the ground-up, leading a team responsible for creating the platform's vision and a 5-year implementation timeline.• Spearheaded the development of a non-PII proof-of-concept, combining Customer Purchase data with 3rd party demographics from Affinity to derive valuable insights into client customers.• Served as the Enterprise Architect and played a pivotal role in creating the design, timeline, and project plan for the next phase, which involved incorporating Customer PII data into the platform and expanding analysis with third-party data to construct a comprehensive Customer Profile.• Acted as the Enterprise Architect during the design phase, and was selected as one of two individuals to engage in oral discussions with the client, resulting in the client's decision to proceed with the project.• Led the design of a modern data architecture for a global agricultural firm, conducting interviews and creating a roadmap that aligns with complex enterprise structures, currently being implemented by the client.• Drove the automation and digitalization of P&L statement processes for a global appliance manufacturer, managing a team to build data models and ingestion pipelines, resulting in enhanced reporting capabilities via Power BI dashboards.• Orchestrated the development of data pipelines and storage models for a global financial forecasting system, leading to a pilot in one division and subsequent rollout to two additional divisions, improving forecasting capabilities by transitioning from a 12-month static to an 18-month rolling tool.• Collaborated with a power and utility company to build an Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), mapping over 200 entities and 10,000 attributes to streamline asset and work order management, significantly improving data accessibility and integrity.

The State of Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) contracted IBM to Implement PeopleSoft HCM OAKS), BI/Cognos, Oracle Learn and Oracle Recruit. Mr. Deweese was brought in to lead the conversion and integration efforts for this project. Mr. Deweese created the conversion designs using input from the Oracle Learn team and the ODOT project team to convert almost one million records from ODOT's legacy Learning system into Oracle Learn. In addition, there were several small conversions from other ODOT Legacy systems into PeopleSoft HCM. Mr. Deweese also managed the integration efforts and was responsible for configuring the State of Ohio's Custom Architecture for Integrations in PeopleSoft HCM. In addition to this, he also coordinated the effort for scheduling of all interfaces through UC4 for both the Oracle Learn and Oracle Recruit integrations to PeopleSoft. Mr. Deweese also coordinated the efforts to onboard ODOT to the State of Ohio's existing Hyland OnBase document management system.

All Star Software Systems has been selected by many Fortune 500 businesses to implement Accounts Payable Automation Solutions to help streamline business processes, Mr. Deweese has been at the forefront of these large implementations, in many cases solely responsible for conducting analysis and design sessions, installing the various software onto the client’s servers, configuring and customizing the systems per client requirements, writing integration programs to connect directly to an ERP database or call an ERP web service to transfer the data, writing conversions routines to integrate legacy data into new systems, designing and writing reports to demonstrate productivity and provide real-time information, conducting training sessions for both Trainers and end-users, supporting end-user testing, and supporting the overall system after Go-Live. Throughout these implementations, Mr. Deweese demonstrated advanced programming skills with VB.Net, C# and Java based web services and he has become an expert in application design for integration between the Enterprise Content Management and ERP systems. This knowledge has also made Mr. Deweese a mentor for new hires, assisting in knowledge transfer of the various products and integration techniques across the Financial Services, Retail, Transportation, Construction, Healthcare and Higher Education Industries.

It is widely recognized that the United State’s Department of Interior (DOI) implementation of an ERP system – SAP in this case has been the model to which the government should implement systems – on time and on budget and by design. IBM was selected by DOI to perform this implementation. Mr. Deweese was chosen by IBM’s Partners to work on this highly selective project to implement SAP's Plant Maintenance module for DOI’s 50,000 plus individual assets. In addition, Mr. Deweese performed integration to IBM's MAXIMO system to integrate Real Property work orders and building and location records. Mr. Deweese has performed design, assisting and sometimes leading blueprinting sessions with the different Bureaus in the Department, creating functional design specifications and leading functional design sessions with Bureau members to gain consensus from all bureaus involved. He has configured SAP with test data and configured processes to run through several test cycles, created highly detailed test plans and executed the steps to ensure proper configuration and supported Bureau end-user testing. Mr. Deweese was also involved during cutover to the production system, configuring the latest pieces for the current Phase and regression testing to ensure that all pieces, for all Bureaus were functioning correctly.

Northrop Grumman Corporation and IBM were selected by the U.S. Army to perform a worldwide Supply Chain Management Implementation. In addition, financials, human resources and inventory management are also being implemented throughout the entire organization. Mr. Deweese performed development of reports and forms for custom inventory processes, inventory critical item checks, vehicle maintenance service schedules, and materials procurement processes. He also created enhancements for the previous areas and the financials module as well. SAP’s ABAP was mainly utilized for development in addition to SQL and Java. Mr. Deweese performed portal development for the modules using Java in SAP’s NetWeaver architecture. Mr. Deweese also participated in cross-functional design certification, technical design certification and programming standards and procedures sign-off reviews. He has also assisted the security team by developing custom data load programs to update security scenarios, roles and permissions.

The State of Indiana selected IBM to perform an upgrade of the Auditor of State's PeopleSoft Financials system from version 8.4 to 8.9, as well as conduct an implementation to a new Chart of Accounts. During the course of this engagement Mr. Deweese developed an on-line PeopleSoft Utility to assist in the conversion to a new Chart of Accounts and another Utility to look-up Historical Chart of Accounts values. Mr. Deweese oversaw the project teams Rational Portfolio Manager database, provided installation, updates and support to the software and also managed end-user access. Mr. Deweese assisted in writing report, interface and conversion technical specifications. He also performed the development work on all aspects of the object development using PeopleCode to build application engines for interfaces and on-line pages for enhancements. Mr. Deweese helped to create the EPM & ETL environment that was used as the main repository for the historical data conversion. He designed the data load process, and created Utilities to view the historical information from the PeopleSoft portal. Further into the project Mr. Deweese also worked on the Chart of Accounts conversion, this used several SQR programs to convert over 400 million rows of financial transactions to a new chart of accounts. In addition, Mr. Deweese also worked to develop many financial reports in SQR, such as Profit and Loss, Grant Disbursements, and Budget and Revenue Balancing. Mr. Deweese was involved with the ENCOMPASS project for the full life cycle and performed multiple mock cut-overs to test system readiness and procedures. Throughout the life cycle of this engagement Mr. Deweese, in addition to the other development work, provided a single point of contact for moving custom development objects and code to Testing and QA environments.

The Air Force asked IBM to submit a proposal to reengineer the Air Force Logistics systems. During this proposal period Mr. Deweese created the PC desktop Image, acquired end-user software and put together a complete desktop solution. Mr. Deweese also assisted in locating a data center for project hardware, creating a project Bill of Materials, and creating Scope and SOW documents.
