Fifteen years ago I co-founded a land conservancy to help protect wildlife habitat in the San Diego region. San Diego is one of the most bio-diverse places on the planet, and I'm proud of the role our organization is playing to conserve the remaining wild spaces of San Diego. We raised more than $75 million to protect endangered habitats and today our organization manages more than 8,000 acres of open space.
