After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a BAS in Electronic Engineering Technology I went on to work in the Low Voltage Industry. With over 35 years’ experience I’ve held and worked all positions in the telecommunications interconnect field, computers, servers, networks and many low voltage systems working as a full low voltage integrator. I first started as a field tech and moved on to lead tech, design engineer, management and a company owner. Early in my career I became an owner of InfoSwitching, Inc., an interconnect company, where I wore all hats and enjoyed working all positions. My Electronics background helped me greatly in the technical side of things, my schooling in business helped me greatly in the office management/business side of things and my outgoing personality and desire to please along with my years of experience help me greatly in sales and consulting as well. In 2009 I had a great opportunity to come onboard with Time & Alarm Systems (TAS), a leading low voltage integrator, that does small- and large-scale projects all over Southern California. In addition to telecommunications and data cabling, TAS works with all kinds of low voltage systems including but not limited to Fire Alarms, Security Alarms, CCTV, Intercom Systems, Sound Systems, A/V Systems etc. and I get to work with all of them. I’m currently Time & Alarm Systems’ s IT Manager. On top of keeping all of the computers, software and servers running, I’m an integral part of implementing new products and supporting all divisions of the company. I manage a team responsible for IT coordination with customers, IT project management for all of Time & Alarm’s IT projects, sales engineering support, new product evaluation/testing, and technical support.I'm always excited to take on new challenges and learn new things.
