Our customer base ranges from large multi-national and FTSE100 clients where we maintain voice, WAN, LAN and converged IPT solutions to SME's.My role is primarily office based where my role includes management of projects encompassing some or all elements of the products supplied by Switch Communications. This includes multi-site MPLS networks, which utilise National Ethernet and DSL circuits; IPT solutions over IP networks; IPT and digital voice solutions; unified communications; WiFi and structured cable installations. Key Responsibilities:Management of one off projects, which may run for anything from 1 to 18 months and have a value of £1000 to £1m. Main day-to-day interface with our most prestigious clients. Delegating business as usual requirements and managing their larger projects. Overhaul of our internal project procedures based upon the PRINCE2 methodology, which is required due to the larger and larger nature of the projects that Switch Communications are taking on. Following a full company and management review the company has instigated a massive 3-year change programme, which I have been assigned to manage. We have recently signed a lucrative contract with a large multi-national managed services company, providing professional services for their Alcatel-Lucent IPT projects. I have been assigned to manage these new opportunities throughout the project life cycle. Switch is also an OGC partner and as such I manage many projects for government agencies. This includes OFWAT, Royal Armouries Museums; universities and county councils. d obtained revenue of over £800K with an average net profit of over 30%.
