I graduated with a BBA from the University of Iowa, Studying Business Management and Entrepreneurship at the Henry B. Tippie College of Business while performing a consulting role with the University Optometry Clinic.Embarking on my professional journey, I worked at a Global Medical Device company, Stryker Orthopedics, managing a portfolio of implants and biologics used in spine surgery. I negotiated hospital contracts, nurtured surgeon relationships, and successfully launched ancillary product lines at several institutions. My efforts there culminated in regional and national performances, carving out profitable biologic sales trajectories, and pioneering new accounts with strategic product introductions.After tiring of spending so much time in the OR, my career path led me to a national diagnostics laboratory where I managed a state-wide territory, achieved double-digit percentage growth Year over year, and accelerated the Western US monthly rankings.With Aphelion Medical, I guided sales and marketing while managing every facet of a medical distributorship. AMS represented toxicology, pharmacogenetic, and infectious disease testing solutions in the medical space. I worked with hospital executives and healthcare providers while managing account planning and pipeline generation.Next, I brought my expertise into the consulting realm with Earning Freedom and then on to The Ambitious Exec where we help executive-level professionals with career consulting and job search guidance spanning branding & positioning, opportunity generation, interviewing planning, and compensation negotiation.
