Since 2009, the organization’s water innovation accelerator has helped over 215 startups with the resources, insight and visibility to launch and scale their businesses. The participants have collectively raised over $1 billion in early-stage investment and recent alumni exits include Valor (Xylem), Emagin (Innovyze), OxyMem (DuPont), and Watersmart (VertexOne). In 2019, Imagine H2O launched IH2O Asia, a Singapore-based accelerator program that bridges global innovation to cities and communities across Southeast Asia. The organization also hosts the Urban Water Challenge, a global deployment program for entrepreneurs reimagining a water-resilient future.

NAWI envisions an affordable, energy-efficient, and resilient water supply for the U.S. economy through decentralized, small-scale, fit-for-purpose desalination.
