When I got out of the Army I had grand aspirations as a twenty four year old kid, I thought with my experience there would be a plethora of open doors and red carpets leading the way for my career. I quickly learned that without any college whatsoever I was sorely mistaken. This became even more true when I was pulling wire in houses in the dead of winter, followed by working the front desk at a Yoga/Pilates gym.I then took a job as an EMI technician at NTS, with no real idea of what I was getting myself into and as you can imagine I was nervous. As it turns out I had an innate knack for the work, particularly excelling in problem mitigation. After 8+ years moving up through the ranks ending my tenure as Project Engineer for the Aerospace industry there was only one piece missing, ownership. With every new day came an ever changing flow of prototype products, which was very interesting, however I needed to have more dominion over what I was guiding through certifications.I then moved to Comark, where I became the only compliance engineer for four different markets of products, military, industrial automation, building automation, and R&D.
