I am a full-stack developer in Java and C languages. I had been interested in Computer Science and program for a long time primarily as an extension of my interest in video game design and development. I made several attempts to break into programming as a hobbyist, modding games in C# (Kerbal Space Program, Freespace II), building console applications in C++ (Tower of Hanoi, Battleship, etc), and creating personal macro in Visual Basic and VBA. I got more serious about perusing programming in 2015 when I wanted to automate some tasks at work. I ended up with over a thousand lines of Visual Basic code for; sending information between applications, incorporating third-party executables, organizing data programmatically, and implementing automatic reporting and KPI monitoring. Eventually I combined these tools into one application. This proved to make the application doubly effective. Some of the tools, benefited from being custom designed that they easily out performed the commercial software being used by the company for even basic task like searching and sorting.
