- I partnered with the CTO to bring major culture and process improvements to the engineering department: Kanban, constructive code reviews, trunk based development, feature flags, unit testing, weekly deploys.- Built TypeScript React app to replace our Django templates and trained the team in React development.- Supervised outsourced devops team to implement SOC2 compliant CI/CD infrastructure in AWS.- Architected new Time and Attendance product - goals were 100% testable rules engine, ledger style data store for punches, respects labor laws of all U.S. states, highly configurable for clients unique payroll needs.- Led implementation of new REST API, enabling platform integrations.
