Developed large-scale publicly and privately funded decarbonisation projects on live hospital sites from RIBA stage 1-6 on behalf of clients as the principal contractor. Responsible for managing external specialists, designers, contractors, suppliers, DNOs, and support roles within Dalkia across electrical, mechanical, and BMS disciplines, to deliver compliant decarbonisation projects according to the public funding frameworks. Involved in all facets of construction cost-related items including procurement, tender comparisons, cost forecasting, budget development, subcontractor payment approvals, and variations.Delivered successful bids across the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme(PSDS), LEA and LCSF on behalf of clients, including high-level designs for integrating new cascade heat pump systems into existing heating systems. Developed first principles models for the energy consumption of new heat pump installations and energy savings across various energy efficiency measures and optimisation methods.Managed and oversaw various energy efficiency upgrade works including AHU upgrades, pump and BMS upgrades, LED lighting, heating management optimisation, and PV installations.

Involved in the RIBA stage 2 to stage 4 design of multi-unit residential developments, offices, and commercial spaces. This included calculations for the sizing of all heating and cooling systems and all mechanical services and the design of the system using CAD and Revit. Thermal modeling of the new designs were done in IES. These sustainable new build designs included solar, air source heat pumps, and Passivhaus technologies. Undertook retrofit redesign works for existing boiler systems on sites which included visual surveys, system redesign, new system pricing, and a detailed scope of works for the upgrades. Assessed the potential for energy reduction in existing buildings by conducting thermal imaging inspections on both offices and residential buildings to identify overheating issues. Developed redesigns on existing systems to enhance thermal comfort and energy efficiency improvements.Responsible for inspections and progress update reports during Stage 5, assessing construction quality against drawings, specifications and building regulations.
