I have deep legal expertise gained from a diverse career in the government sector as a NSWPF Detective, Prosecutor and Legal Advisor. I have undertaken Criminal Investigative duties at Local Area Commands and State Crime Commands. Experienced undertaking and overseeing internal misconduct investigations. I have managed human resource and professional standards investigations and portfolio responsibilities at numerous NSWPF Local Area Commands and Specialist Commands. I possess a broad understanding of government policy and procedures which allows me to provide solutions and options to resolve complex and sensitive legal questions. I have been an advocate on numerous NSW Parliament legislative working parties, collaborating with government and non-government agencies. I am the author of numerous NSWPF corporately endorsed Standard Operating Procedures. I have appeared as prosecutorial advocate before courts throughout NSW on behalf of the NSWPF. Appearing as an advocate prosecuting a vast array of matters including but not limited to property offences, matters of violence, apprehended violence orders, robberies, drug supply and possession and appearing as an advocate in associated interlocutory proceedings.As a Legal Advisor I am adept at crisis management and providing legal advice in highly pressured and challenging environments. I have experience providing time sensitive legal advice for the NSWPF senior and executive leadership team during public order and counter terrorism operations.
