As the Account Services Supervisor in the Government, Military, and Industrial Division, I manage the administration of government contracts, act as the main liaison with government contracting officers/consultants, and accurately enter orders into Oracle Applications. I have direct responsibility for processing over $25 million in government orders annually. I am in charge of the formal quoting process for all government inquiries. In addition, I manage two outside sales rep agencies that market our product into the Base Exchange and Supply Center system. I assist in forecasting, EDI order transmitting, and sales reporting. I also participate in various special project teams focusing on Continuous Improvement, Compliance, Sales & Operations Planning, and Special Build Products. In this capacity, I interface with various internal departments, as well as textile manufacturers to ensure order accuracy, timely delivery, and the completion of all necessary documentation, i.e. Certificates of Conformance/Origin, DD250, etc. I continue to supervise, train and mentor junior employees as an Oracle Applications Super-User.

As a teambuilding Program Coordinator on a Ropes Course, lead groups of 8-10 people through a series of mentally and physically challenging elements designed to promote teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving ability. As an Intern, actively assisted in the management of the Ironman brand. Such projects included; written contributions to the 2005 Ford Ironman World Championship Media Guide, market research for both Ironman and the Irongirl division, and executed a brand awareness campaign at the 2005 Ford Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, HI. Responsibilities included small group presentations, scheduling, payroll, minor investigations, and report writing. Participated in the hiring and training of new officers. Wrote Security Policies and Procedures Manual.

Served as Corporal of the Guard with MCSF Company Bangor. Later transferred to 3rd Bn. 3rd Marines, promoted to the rank of Sergeant (E-5) and served as a Forward Observer. Honorably discharged in June of 1999.
