I am a BSc(Hons) Physics with Philosophy University of Manchester graduate who is coming to the end of a part-time MSc in Science Communication at UCL. This course has helped me develop a strong theoretical grounding in the field of science and technology. It has also taught me invaluable training in the practice of science journalism, science broadcasting, and science engagement. This builds on the experience I gained as an Explainer and Senior Explainer for the Science Museum Group. Alongside my MSc, I work at the Education Endowment Foundation as their Regional Delivery Officer, where I help support schools to integrate academic research into everyday practice. In my spare time, I am a contributing writer and editor for SciComm Bites, an online resource hoping to increase accessibility to the academic field of Science Communication. I am also currently acting as the Association of Britsh Science Writer's student representative attending their Executive Board meetings once a month
