IT Committee Chairman 2005-2014The IT Committee has switched the practice from pagers, to Palm Treos, to Android devices, and finally to the iPhone for nearly two years.We have implemented a secure mobile portal to be accessed from the various phones over the years. Among other features it currently allows access to one's surgical schedule, surgeon preferences, submission of patients to our acute surgical pain service, submission of complications for followup, location aware text messaging of partners within a given facility and curated clinical content for reference during the workday.We have implemented Shareable Ink at our two HCA facilities, Swedish and Sky Ridge. with ongoing efforts at the Centura facilities, Porter, Littleton and Castle Rock. We attested to Meaningful Use Stages I and II, currently chart our anesthetics and electronically collect charges.We began implementation of TigerText for secure messaging within the group in March 2014, with an Airwatch implementation that followed.
