Beverage Manager
CurrentKeep track of beverage supplies (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to ensure there’s enough stock for each event. This includes monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and reducing waste.Train, and supervise bartenders, servers, and other beverage staff. Develop schedules based on event needs and ensure staff is trained in customer service, safety, and alcohol laws.Ensure all beverage operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, particularly around alcohol service (such as age verification and responsible serving practices).Set and monitor beverage budgets, control costs by managing pour costs, preventing loss, and maximizing profit margins. Implement procedures for reducing shrinkage and managing spoilage.Collaborate with event managers to prepare for specific events, adjusting offerings, staffing, and inventory to match crowd size and event type.Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring customers have a positive experience. Handle complaints or issues related to beverage service during events.Maintain cleanliness and safety in all beverage areas, including proper storage and handling practices, to comply with health regulations.Track sales data, analyze financial performance, and provide regular reports. Use data insights to make informed decisions on inventory and menu adjustments.Ensure that all beverage-related equipment, such as beer taps, coolers, and mixers, are in good working order and arrange for repairs as necessary.
