As the Commander, 412th Communications Squadron, I lead an organization of over 400 military, civilian and contractor professionals who operate and maintain Edwards Air Force Base's $74 million command, control, communications and computer systems and infrastructure for the center of the 412th Test Wing, the center of the aerospace testing universe. I also provide support to the USAF Test Pilot School, Air Force Research Laboratory, NASA's Neil Armstrong Flight Research Center and other associate organizations on the USAF's second largest base.

As the Chief, Cyberspace Operations Division I lead 17 personnel conducting current operations, future operations planning as well as overseeing cyberspace security for the 24th Air Force forces performing operational missions to achieve air, space and cyberspace effects as tasked by Joint Forces Commanders. In this role, I am responsible for deliberate and crisis action planning for exectution of planning efforts delivering all-domain integrated cyber effects in support of Global Combatant Commanders' objectives. To this end, I oversee the 24th Air Force orders (Operations Orders, Tasking Orders, Fragmentation Orders, etc.) production process and the operational readiness reporting for 2 cyber wings, 39 cyber mission/protect teams, and more than 1,700 personnel. Additiomally, I oversee the program management and exercise operational oversight of the Air Force's Cyberspace Security Provider (CSSP) and Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) efforts securing and operating the $14.2B Air Force enterprise supporting more than 1 million global users.

As the Commander, Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Computer Systems Squadron (CSS), I led 258 globally dispersed military, civilian and contractor personnel in the operations, maintenance and development of AETC's $370 million recruit, train, and educate mission system portfolio. In addition, I guided policy and implementation for the command's Spectrum Management and $130 million Enterprise Information Systems environment to enhance the command's 10 bases providing world class, reliable communications support to over 109,000 personnel. The expert team I led provided executive communications support to the AETC Commander, Vice Commander, and Director of Staff. Some of the key information technology systems I was responsible for included the Graduate Training Intermediate Management System (GTIMS), Technical Training Management System (TTMS), Promotion Testing System (PTS), and Advanced Distributed Learning System (ADLS) applications serving 780,000 global users in more than 8,000 Department of Defense and federal government organizations.

Full-time student at NIU working towards a Masters of Science and Technology Intelligence with a concentration in Information Operations and Cyber Intelligence. My graduate thesis focused on developing a cyber threat matrix to assist cyber security professionals and intelligence analysts in identifying if a threat actor was an agent of the state, a government contractor, or an independent actor to aid in attributing the threat actor to a nation-state. The thesis was provided to intelligence community cyber analysts for real-world validation and consideration as an intelligence community standard for assessing cyber threat actors.

As the United States Air Forces in Europe 17D Functional Manager and Chief, Force Development Branch, I led a 9-member team that managed the Command's manpower requirements, training, and readiness for more than 2,700 cyberspace officer and enlisted professionals at 27 locations throughout Europe. I served as the USAFE A6 Director of Communication's principle advisor on the force management and professional development of over 250 cyberspace officers. Under this umbrella I provided mentorship, career management advice and guidance to officers assigned throughout the command. Further, I provided oversight to the careerfield training plans for 16,500 total force personnel ensuring the accounting of the European theater's equities. I was also responsible for managing the Command's cyberspace inspection program providing feedback and analysis to Commanders to ensure compliance with higher headquarters directives and policies.

In this position I led 11 communications planners supporting operations, exercises and theater security cooperation engagements in Europe and Africa. I was responsible for evaluating partner nations' communications and cyber capacity/capabilities and developing targeted engagements to meet national security requirements. Additionally, I oversaw the annual operational planning for command, control, communication, and control (C4) support requirements for the NATO-led Baltic Air Policing and Icelandic Air Surveillance mission supporting the defense of Europe. I was also responsible for planning communications support to the Secret Service in support of presidential engagements in the U.S. European Command and U.S. African Command areas of responsibilities.

Directed 19 civilian and military personnel managing USAFE's $224M IT portfolio by developing and enforcing architecture and standards to align IT expenditures to USAFE priorities. In this role I oversaw the Command's IT capital investments and directed enterprise-wide modernization strategies for seven main operating locations in the UK, Germany, Italy and Turkey. Furthermore, I was responsible for the engineering, planning, procurement, integration and implementation of emerging technologies in the USAFE enterprise.

Senior action officer on the team providing direct support and advice to the Defense Information Systems Agency's Director, Vice Director and 31 senior executives on public engagements to include articles, presentations and speeches. Moreover, I developed content for the Director and Vice Director's speeches, articles and presentations for both internal agency and external engagements; providing planning and support effort oversight for Director and Vice Director trips and events whenever necessary. Responsible for coordinating across staff to develop senior leader messaging and ensure strategic communications were consistent throughout the agency.

Led 35 joint service civilian, military and contractor personnel in DISA's 24/7 global network operations command center responsible for the command and control of DISA's more than 16,000 employees and $8.4B global mission. Directs DISA's 29 field offices and coordinates with 64 federal agencies to operate and secure the Department of Defense enterprise. Prioritized network operational missions impacting 31 locations in 8 nations and provided situational awareness for over 7,000 global telecommunications circuits. Executes global Tier 2 computer network defense coordinating with U.S. Cyber Command and 34 Department of Defense Agencies to synchronize command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) missions.

Leads multi-discipline information assurance certification teams to evaluate adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) standards in accordance with DoD policy and U.S. law. Develops information assurance policies and procedures for securing, certifying and accrediting (C&A) information systems; to that end coordinates with the National Security Agency, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Combatant Commands and other Defense Agencies to refine C&A activities. Directs the information assurance security posture for 73 business and mission IT systems supporting the DoD.

Led 74 military in eight work centers providing tactical, deployable communications and support infrastructure for an Air Control Squadron responsible for the command and control of military aircraft during combat and contingency operations. Oversaw the deployment readiness of 390 personnel. Managed the maintenance and availability of 190 tactical vehicles, 397 weapons, 5,000 gallons of fuel, 14 power plants and 123,500 rounds of ammunition valued at $18M. Directed security forces, mobility training, environmental control, readiness, services and communications equipment maintenance parts worth $12.2M. Chief logistics planner for operations, exercises and field deployments for 390 personnel and 45 command and control systems and assets valued at $71.6M.
