In 2020 I joined the BC3 Basque Centre for Climate Change through a La Caixa INPhINIT fellowship grant for doctoral research. Here, my work will triangulate three areas: climate change adaptation, ecosystem services, and cities. With my interdisciplinary background, I will focus on the various policy, social, and biophysical dynamics of climate change adaptation in cities through nature based solutions, both with a domestic focus in the Basque Country (particularly Vitoria-Gasteiz) as well as on a global level.
