I am a Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego, School of Medicine specializing in Biomedical Science, Neuroscience, and the Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB). In my graduate training, I have acquired expertise in neuroscience and molecular biology, bulk and single-cell transcriptomics, bioinformatics, and in vivo gene modulation strategies. Through my academic journey I have led multiple research projects, leveraged my computational skills to drive forward my teammates projects, and provided consulting services for a gene therapy start-up by applying my knowledge of molecular genetics and gene modulation paradigms. I am motivated by the prospect of improving outcomes for patients suffering from disease. Going forward, I hope to work with people that share these motivations, and aim to develop and deliver innovative therapeutics for those that need them most.
