I continue work on the maps for the "NTS Traffic Management" system. This is challenging but rewarding, as it interfaces with many other components and involves front-end graphical programming as well as back-end data handling.I also mentor junior developers who are getting started programming with 3rd party map APIs. This includes giving them a good starting point, guiding them if they get stuck, sharing domain knowledge with them and reviewing their code to suggest where they can improve.

I worked as a developer in a five person Agile Scrum team on the real-time "Lane Signalling System" project, detailed below. I was also responsible in part for design, testing, documentation, code review, merging and planning.I also worked on the "NTS Traffic Management" system, which manages accidents, roadworks, extreme weather conditions etc. in Sweden. I worked as a Junior Consultant as part of my degree. I refined valuable C++ skills through working on the "NTS Traffic Management" project (detailed below) and learned skills such as rapid prototyping, working with a vast, concurrent code base and remotely debugging large networked systems.I produced a web-based prototype of the map software, which communicated between the web browser and the original C++ application via ASP.NET. This displayed feature-rich maps from our C++ application in any web browser that supported JavaScript, including on mobile.
