Get Schooled is a national education non-profit that supports young people in getting to college, getting a first job and succeeding in both. As a Senior Program Manager, I lead Get Schooled’s efforts to support young people as they prepare for, find, and succeed in their ‘first’ jobs. This includes crafting and executing our young adult (ages 16-24).

The Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County (WDC) is a nonprofit workforce grant-making organization whose mission is to support a strong economy and ensure the ability of each person to achieve self-sufficiency. The WDC oversees WorkSouce, a network of employment centers and sites; funds youth programs focused on academic achievement, work.

• Supervise, coach, and guide six AmeriCorps volunteers implementing academic and behavioral interventionsAnalyze student level data in order to partner with school administration and teachers to align intervention case.
• Secured $125,000 via federal “Race to the Top” grant for Seattle Public Schools which brought infusion of arts integration, mental health counseling, cultural navigation, and extended learning day:Integrate six.
