Launch new Employee Resource Groups to bring more representation and resources to marginalized communities and oversee the operations of each. I manage full cycle recruiting for sales, customer service, and claims as well as our leadership development programs in the Kansas City office. I oversee our college and diversity recruitment strategies and throughout my time in this position, I’ve had the opportunity to serve as the Chair of our local Diversity & Inclusion committee to drive our efforts and accountability measures for equity across all levels of the organization. I’m an active member of our Pride (LGBTQIA+) and Familia (Hispanic/Latinx) Employee Resource Groups and continue to be an active voice and ally in my community.

I relocated from the Virginia Beach office to launch our brand-new Kansas City office (Opened in August 2018). I contributed to the growth of the new regional office as a Customer Service Trainer in our Property Insurance Department and was instrumental in piloting new training curriculum that I developed and produced best in class results across all regions. I had the opportunity to launch this office’s first United Way campaign and set a record for highest participation levels as we raised funds to support our local United Way of Greater Kanas City.

I coordinate, plan, and run Regent’s Special Events, managing a small team, – including student orientations, which involves the hiring and training of staff & extensive event planning. I oversee online programs, handle mass communications and marketing, write the University newsletters, and work with the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences strategic team. * Responsible for coordinating student orientations, events, programs, and banquets. * Editor and writer for the Regent Undergraduate News, a University newsletter. * Responsible for marketing, coordinating, and conducting Interest Meetings* Co-responsible for interviewing, scanning, selecting, and training new hires. * Co-responsible for developing content for new online student programs.

I coordinated with business leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, educational departments, curriculum writers, and business student leaders and created a specialized high school curriculum that focused on business entrepreneurial action. We motivated students in starting businesses, and served to guide them along the process of starting small businesses. To do this, I recruited several teachers, and collectively we taught this semester length class.The job culminated in a special event celebration hosted at Regent University, where students presented their business projects, and business leaders served to judge them according to a designated rubric.
