I am a disability-inclusive education and development practitioner with over 12 years of experience in the education sector, driven by a commitment to fostering equity through an intersectional lens. My doctoral research centered on the inclusion of children with disabilities in mainstream education, focusing on the development of inclusive education systems, particularly in curriculum design and pedagogical processes.With a strong passion for advancing inclusive education, I champion the adoption of strength-based approaches in teacher professional development and advocate for effective public-private partnerships. My background in developmental psychology, specializing in autism, coupled with my extensive experience in international development, positions me at the critical intersection of mental health, disabilities, inclusion, and well-being.I am deeply invested in research, strategic planning for effective implementation, program design, project management, and shaping education policy to create lasting, inclusive change. I currently serve as Associate Director with the School Services Team at Ummeed Child Development Center, where I support schools and education professionals across India in implementing inclusive education for diverse learners through capacity building programs. In addition to this role, I teach in the Post Graduate Diploma in Inclusive Education program, a collaboration between Ummeed CDC and Azim Premji University. My work also extends to independent research in social-emotional learning, teacher agency, and inclusive education, supported by various academic grants.
