I have 11 years of experience in Java development and a total of 21 years of experience in software development. I am proficient in both designing and developing highly-available, cloud-based, and scalable web applications.During my journey in software development, I utilized a variety of approaches, methodologies, programming languages, and IDEs. Some of them the methodologies are Scrum, Agile, Kanban, XP, Pair programming, Test-driven development (test-first approach). Delphi, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Netbeans, IDEA are the IDEs, and Pascal, C# .NET,and Java are the primary programming languages.For databases, I have extensive experience with MS SQL, MySql, Postgresql at the level of query performance tuning.Over the years, I have accumulated a reasonable level of knowledge in each area of the above mentioned which enables me to compare them and figure out the best combination to achieve the excellent results. My latest preferences are Eclipse + Java + Google Web Toolkit +, and Postgresql.I tend to take side with simplicity and readability. My experience has taught me that adding many features and losing the balance between features and complexity can result in failure. This is true for both the UX design, and development process. To follow the OOP and SOLID principles, I like to do a team coding activity where I join one of my teammates, and we code together. This way I can give my advice, learn from them and pass on the new information to our other teammates. I believe meetings are the most crucial part of the whole development process. The team need to be sure about the customer's requirements, what is the best UX design, and the most efficient way to doing everything. I do not hesitate to take a look at a competitor’s product. Not to copy them but rather, to create a superior product. I believe one of the most crucial parts of UX is performance. I embed performance collectors into my projects to get an insight on performance bottlenecks.
