The Institute for the Advancement of Community teaches conflict management skills. We help our clients identify areas of imbalance, within or with others, and the root causes of these experiences in their approach to communication. From that point, our aim is to help clients in developing the skill-sets and mind-sets which lead to resolution and peace. We believe that conflict is a natural part of life, but can be constructive when managed properly.

Included assessment of potential Food Stamp need by geographical area; working as a liaison between various Community Based Organizations (CBOs) and the LA County Dept. of Public Social Services; and organization and implementation of outreach efforts.
