Stages is designed on top of 40+ AWS services in AWS cloud, with the primary focus on up/down scalability and cost-effectiveness. Aside from the core product, I helped the DevOps team with the architecture and design of the internal CI/CD system on top of AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild which we called Orion. It turned out to be quite a successful internal project, and I was even invited by AWS to give a short technical presentation about Orion in AWS Days Conference in Prague in 2023.My previous experience (about 11 years) is also related to online video (both on-demand and live-brodcasting), which includes the architecture, design and development of the https://okko.tv (online cinema) and https://okko.sport (online sport).As an architect, during 11+ years with the company, among basic routine tasks of drawing squares and arrows on a whiteboard, I had been experimenting with video transcoders (distributed H.264 and HEVC transcoders, accelerated transcoding with NVidia GPU and CUDA, Elemental Live and Delta). My past experience (1999-2009) is 10+ years in a telecom industry (software for Motorola CDMA and iDEN base stations, J2ME, BREW and Android applications for Motorola phones).In early 1990s, I have even written a book about Forth programming with my classmate.
