• Provided strategic leadership to a group of 85 IT professionals across the 3 company headquarters (Houston, Birmingham, and Colorado Springs). • Developed strategies, project plans, IT budgets, and policies as related to the automation of business processes (entire SDLC) in support of the Commercial mega processes (including Contracting, Capacity Release, Nominations, Scheduling, Gas Accounting, Invoicing, and all external customer facing applications). • Managed an Operating budget of approximately $12 million dollars per year, and $7 million of capital projects. • Managed several projects to re-design and re-write our commercial applications to enable the business transformation of our pipelines for new customer services such as hourly services, segmentation, and customer portal dashboards. My group received 2 consecutive company ACE awards for these successful implementations. • Rapidly integrated systems, people, cultures, and processes yielding considerable efficiencies and budget reductions after El Paso had achieved tremendous growth through multiple mergers and acquisitions.• Developed roadmaps and led a successful migration of our applications from a distributed Client-server environment to Web based systems.• Provided strategic leadership for the development of standard frameworks for each of the .NET presentations (web-forms and win-forms) to be used across the enterprise. These standard frameworks proved very beneficial not only in cost efficiencies, but also in ease of application maintenance, and ease of use (common look and feel across the enterprise).• Implemented Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and SLA results quarterly reviews to promote process improvement. • Domain of expertise expanded to a dual role: Technology and Business. • Experienced at implementing policies and controls for application security, financial (SOX) controls, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
