Installing and maintain equipment company equipment: working in this position, one of main duties is installing, supporting troubleshooting, detecting and changing hardware parts if needed. Also a big part of my work is installing, optimizing and checking multiple software starting from OS like Windows, Linux, UNIX and finishing with firewalls. Supporting our clients from entire world: in our company we are making Cyber security hardware for clients from entire world. My duty is to give support to them. First of all I need to test multiple suits of software on our devices, results being saved in technical documents for later review and analysis. Sometimes the customers have questions regarding our devices or they want to use specific software, in this case I need to test in my lab and update them about my researches. Designing heat sink for fan less PC: right now I am testing a heat sink designed by our team, where due to my expertise and technical knowledge, we succeeded to create a promising prototype which is passing initial stress tests. Between main tests and tools I’m using for testing, it can be highlighted AIDA64, CPUz to check the stability of the systems with different CPUs, starting from Intel’s i3 and finishing with i7. Checking most popular firewalls: is very important that our hardware should be compatible with practically all popular firewalls like Pfsense, Untangle, Sophos etc;In testing process I used to create a LAN network betwen 2 servers and 2 clients. To optimize my work I configured in all systems SSH access, and send packets using TCP/UDP protocols. For every testing configuration between hardware and software, I’m creating a technical document, which is helpful not just for us, as a company, but as a portfoliofor our customers as well, so they can find easily the option they are looking for, this way delivering a better customer experience.
