Since middle school, I have desired to be involved with the many aspects that are a part of creative writing. In the beginning, I enjoyed writing poems and short stories for school assignments as well as during my free time. As I progressed in my studies and in life, I decided to use my passion for creative writing and eventually became a middle school teacher. My certification permitted me to teach English to middle and high school students in Canarsie, Brooklyn from 1996-2005. Being able to instruct others not just about proper word usage and mechanics but what was involved in creative writing was a dream come true. Due due health reasons, I had to leave that world behind; so, I moved to Nevada in 2008 and have been a freelance writer ever since. Whatever the topic or subject may be, I have always found a way to not only complete my assignments but to interject my personality within each assignment; when permitted to do so.
