My practice is focused on the development and financing of large infrastructure projects, including liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals, renewable and conventional power projects, mixed-use developments, and athletic complexes. My experience includes negotiating project development-related agreements, such as power purchase, interconnection, procurement-related agreements, and construction and professional services agreements, as well as the filing of applications for licenses, permits, and other regulatory requirements. In addition, my practice also includes representing sponsors and financial institutions with respect to the financing of such infrastructure projects, including the drafting and negotiation of credit agreements and related ancillary documentation. I also have extensive experience representing clients in regulatory proceedings before the California Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”). With respect to energy issues, I have represented developers and industry associations in matters relating to the California energy industry, including interconnection/transmission access, combined heat and power transactions, and the California renewable portfolio standard and other supply-mix issues.
