Responsible for overall store operations including hiring and supervision of staff, product and service quality, and financial health of the store. The General Manager is accountable for achieving store profitability, sales growth, Guest satisfaction and employee engagement measures. Works under the supervision of and reports to a Corporate Business Leader.

As a Certified Trainer I am responsible for training new employees to job readiness and ensuring all employees are doing their job the correct and intended way.I am in charge of keeping job aids posted throughout the store and making sure my peers have all of the necessary tools they need to do their job correctly.This job requires patience and the ability to work one on one with new employees without distraction.

I supervise my fellow coworkers while they work, monitor their performance, ensure they comply with company safety policies and delegate tasks appropriately. In addition to managing people, I am also in charge of nightly inventory and cash count. When opening, I am responsible for preparing the store to serve customers, I count money, make preparation plans, and monitor my coworkers.
