I'm a student journalist who hopes to continue improving as reporter and writer. With over a year of experience at the Purdue Exponent as both a reporter and an editor, I've developed a passion for investigative journalism. In just my short time working as a journalist I've come face to face with poverty, homeless and drug addiction and laid these out in writing for our readers, exposed the shady practices of a local landlord, uncovered the dangers of a little-known street drug, investigated the troubled past of a local hospital company, followed several high-profile court cases, and reported from harrowing crime scenes.
